Welcome to Rarudu's fishing boat rental service. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the rental of our fishing boats. By accessing our website or renting a boat from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any booking.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services or rent our equipment.

2. Eligibility and Requirements

To rent a fishing boat from Rarudu, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age or older
• Possess a valid government-issued photo identification
• Provide a valid credit or debit card for payment and security deposit
• Hold appropriate boating licenses or certifications as required by local regulations
• Demonstrate basic competency in operating a boat (verification may be required)

3. Booking and Reservations

All bookings must be made through our website, by phone at +44 20 3815 9274, or by email at [email protected]. A booking is confirmed only when:

• Payment has been received and processed
• You have received a confirmation email from us
• All required documentation has been submitted

We reserve the right to refuse any booking at our discretion, particularly if we believe safety may be compromised or if previous rental agreements have been violated.

4. Payment Terms

Payment for boat rentals must be made in full at the time of booking. We accept major credit cards and debit cards. Rental fees include:

• Base rental rate for the specified time period
• Basic safety equipment (life jackets, fire extinguisher, first aid kit)
• Standard fishing equipment as listed in your booking confirmation

Additional charges may apply for fuel, extended rental periods, additional equipment, cleaning fees, or damages. A refundable security deposit will be held on your card and released within 7-10 business days after the boat is returned in satisfactory condition.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing to [email protected]. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• More than 7 days before rental: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee
• 3-7 days before rental: 50% refund
• Less than 3 days before rental: No refund
• Weather-related cancellations: Full refund or rescheduling option if we cancel due to unsafe conditions

6. Rental Period and Late Returns

The rental period begins and ends at the times specified in your booking confirmation. Late returns will incur additional charges at 150% of the hourly rate. If you anticipate being late, you must contact us immediately. Failure to return the boat within 2 hours of the scheduled time without notification may result in the boat being reported as stolen.

7. Use of Equipment and Responsibilities

As the renter, you agree to:

• Operate the boat safely and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not use the boat while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Not exceed the maximum passenger capacity specified for the boat
• Not use the boat for commercial purposes without prior written consent
• Conduct a pre-departure safety check as instructed
• Ensure all passengers wear life jackets when required
• Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately
• Return the boat in the same condition as received, clean and with fuel as specified

8. Liability and Insurance

Rarudu maintains insurance on all rental boats; however, renters are responsible for any damage caused by negligence, misuse, or violation of these Terms. You may be held liable for:

• Damage to the boat, motor, or equipment beyond normal wear and tear
• Loss of equipment or accessories
• Damage caused by operating in restricted areas or hazardous conditions
• Costs associated with recovery if the boat becomes stranded or lost

We strongly recommend purchasing additional rental insurance, which is available at the time of booking.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rarudu, its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any injuries, damages, losses, or expenses arising from the rental or use of our boats, including but not limited to accidents, equipment failure, weather conditions, or acts of third parties. You assume all risks associated with boating activities.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rarudu from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the rented boat, violation of these Terms, or violation of any laws or regulations.

11. Weather and Safety

We reserve the right to cancel or terminate any rental if weather conditions are deemed unsafe. Safety is our top priority. You must comply with all safety instructions provided by our staff. If conditions deteriorate while you are on the water, you must return to shore immediately and contact us for guidance.

12. Modifications to Terms

Rarudu reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
